Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-08-05

These terms govern your use of TokenHub. By using the service you agree to them. Please read the section on who sells you the subscription, because it is probably not who you expect.

1. Who operates this service

TokenHub is operated as a sole proprietorship by the individual named below, referred to in these terms as "we", "us" or "the operator".

Wang Qiyuan (王启源)

No. 12 Xiaoying East Road, Qinghe, Haidian District, Beijing 100192, China

2. Who sells you the subscription

Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ) is our Merchant of Record. This means Creem is the legal seller of record for every order, not us. When you buy a subscription you enter into a purchase contract with Creem, which:

  • processes your payment and stores your payment details;
  • appears on your card or bank statement as CREEM.IO;
  • calculates, collects and remits any VAT, GST or sales tax due in your jurisdiction;
  • issues your receipt and invoices; and
  • handles chargebacks and payment disputes.

We remain responsible for the service itself: availability, support and the accuracy of what we publish. Your use of the software is governed by these terms, while the payment transaction is additionally governed by Creem's own terms.

3. What the service does

TokenHub counts tokens in text you provide and estimates what that text would cost as input or output for a range of large language models. It is a measurement and estimation tool.

To be explicit about what we do not do: we do not sell, resell, proxy or provide access to any model provider's API. We do not sell credits, tokens, quota or virtual currency of any kind. We never transmit your text to a model provider. You keep your own accounts with whichever providers you use, and you pay them directly.

4. Accuracy and the limits of an estimate

Token counts for OpenAI models are produced with the same tiktoken-compatible byte-pair encodings those models use, and are exact for the text you submit.

Counts for every other provider are estimates. Those vendors do not publish an offline tokenizer, so we scale a known encoding by a calibration ratio. Estimated values are marked with a tilde ("~") in the interface.

Prices in our catalogue are the providers' published list prices as of the review date shown in the app. Providers change prices without notice, and your actual bill depends on your own agreement, region, batching, caching and request overheads that we cannot observe. Cost figures are therefore estimates for planning, not invoices. You are responsible for reconciling against your provider's own billing before you rely on a number.

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

The free tier requires no account and is offered as-is. Pro is a subscription at $9 per month or $79 per year, in US dollars, charged in advance and renewing automatically until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time, yourself, without contacting us: use the button on your account page, or the customer portal link that Creem emails you after every payment. Cancellation stops future renewals.

Refunds are covered by our refund policy: a full refund within 14 days of a charge, no questions asked.

6. Your license key

A Pro subscription is identified by a license key. It is a credential: keep it secret, and do not share or publish it. You are responsible for activity carried out with your key. Each activation registers a device, and you can release a device by signing out.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • attempt to circumvent tier limits, rate limits or license validation;
  • resell, sublicense or redistribute access to the service or its API;
  • use automated means to place load on the service beyond the published rate limits;
  • submit content you do not have the right to process; or
  • use the service to build a substantially similar competing product from our data.

We may suspend access that threatens the stability of the service or breaches these terms. Where a suspension is our decision and you have paid, we will refund the unused portion.

8. Availability

We do not offer a service level agreement. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and may be interrupted for maintenance, by upstream provider failures, or for reasons outside our control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost revenue or budget overruns arising from reliance on an estimate produced by the service.

Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the service, its interface and its model catalogue. You retain all rights in the text you submit; we claim no licence over it beyond what is needed to return your result.

Model and product names belong to their respective owners. TokenHub is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or a reseller of any model provider.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be announced by email before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Your payment contract with Creem is governed by their terms.
